Who Are We?

Kiddiwinks is a family business with everyone involved. From children up to grandparents, we are all passionate about everything LEGO® related. So passionate in fact, that we have a personal collection of well over 1500 different LEGO® sets. Kiddiwinks is not just a business for us – it’s a lifestyle.

Company Overview

Founded in 2001, Kiddiwinks is owned and run by Bryony Poulter from the family home located in Rondebosch, Cape Town, and affectionately called Head Office. Kiddiwinks has grown from a small craft market business, to today having four exclusively LEGO® shops around the Greater Cape Town area and an online shop delivering LEGO® sets across the whole of South Africa.

Besides retail, Kiddiwinks focuses on two other divisions within the business, offering both LEGO® parties for children ages 5 to 16 and LEGO® robotics programmes for primary and high schools. Across all its divisions, Kiddiwinks employs over 30 people in casual, part-time and full-time positions.

Mission

The LEGO Group’s mission is to “inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.” As a family with such a passion for everything LEGO® related, we want to help realise this mission and give as many children (and adults) the opportunity to experience LEGO® play and all that it unlocks. Our mission is therefore to put a LEGO® brick in the hands of every South African child and, by doing so, release their potential to shape their own future.
